A living inquiry

The Living Record of Presence

An evolving contemplative work exploring what happens when spiritual recognition is lived through the full complexity of an actual human life.

The Living Record follows Presence through relationship, memory, dreams, family, creativity, the body-mind, love, grief, identity, perception, solitude, discernment, and ordinary daily living.

A moment is lived, observed, revisited, and allowed to reveal its deeper structure over time. From there, questions emerge: What is organizing experience now? How does an old relational world become active again? What changes when a person recognizes the field they are inside? How do memory, body, identity, dreams, and relationship continue to move after a deeper recognition of Presence has already occurred?

A field can be powerful without being primary.

The work develops an inquiry into fields of human experience—family, relational, dream, body-mind, creative, spiritual, and social fields—and how these can organize perception, emotion, memory, bodily response, identity, and behavior. Presence makes it possible to recognize the field, see the role it is offering, and discover whether that role still belongs to the life being lived now.

As a public work, The Living Record of Presence can take many forms: contemplative essays, podcast conversations, Substack writings, books, collected inquiries, and selected pieces shared here.

The Living Record of Presence is an ongoing inquiry into how Presence actually lives.
